DIGI- Game Coding: Super Mario Sr. Age: 9-11 yrs. This course will give you hands-on experience developing your game using Scratch 3, a visual coding platform. Students will learn to think like programmers and learn coding concepts while creating a 2-dimensional, arcade-style Super Mario Bros.-themed game. The first part of the class will be instructor-led. With any remaining time, students will have the opportunity to customize their games. Bring a USB drive to save your games on the last day. Curriculum and instructional staff are provided by Tech Academy. Digital lesson is 3 hours/day from 1:00-4:00pm daily. Curbside drop-off for early care opens at 7:30am. Campers must be picked up by 6:00pm. Campers will engage in dynamic and exciting programming when not in the digital lesson such as active & passive games, arts & crafts, special events, science activities, and much more. Participants should bring a refillable water bottle daily, lunch, and 2 snacks each day. Ravenscroft School Jun 26-Jun 30 M-F 7:30am-6:00pm Fee: $275 DIGI- Hogwarts Magical Engineering & Robotics Jr. Age: 6-8 yrs. Journey to the magical world of Harry Potter and other Magical Lands. Build and program magical theme projects. Young imaginations soar! Students will be taught foundational building and introduced to programming concepts with learning about sensors, motors, and special technics components using the Lego Wedo Systems. Possible projects include Magic Chest, Dragon, Hippogriff, Magic Hat, Magic Carpet, and magical staircase. Curriculum and instructional staff are provided by Tech Academy. Choose your storyline with your favorite superheroes as your stars. Add challenges and difficulty levels. Then, share them by email or post them on the web to

Choose characters from Pokémon, Nintendo, Minecraft, and even classic characters like Donkey Kong, Pac-Man, Sonic, and Mario! In the first class, we will learn to use Scratch, and in the final session, students will be walked through creating a maze game and picking which main character to use. Write code to summon the ender dragon, learn to use Redstone, and command blocks to make automated machines in Minecraft: Java Edition. No prior coding experience is necessary. Minecraft playing experience would be helpful. Basic computer skills are needed (this includes good keyboard and mouse skills). Curriculum and instructional staff are provided by Tech Academy. Ravenscroft School Jul 17-Jul 21 M-F 7:30am-6:00pm Fee: $275 DIGI- Minecraft Modding: Custom Mobs Sr. Age: 9-11 yrs. Customize your gaming experience! Learn to make Java mods for Minecraft: Java Edition using MCreator. MCreator is an excellent tool for learning Minecraft modding and software programming concepts. Students should be comfortable with keyboarding and, of course, playing Minecraft! At the end of the class, take home your mods to share with family and friends.
