PU – Public Utilities

5.2 PC User – employees who have pre-populated schedules in PeopleSoft 5.2.1 Offsetting - using hours worked over on one day to offset unworked scheduled hours on another day (i.e. 2 hours over one day covers 2 hours not worked on another day) 5.3 Clocker – employees who must swipe in and out for work days and lunch periods 5.4 Operator Schedules – 12-hour shift schedules for plant operators. 5.4.1 Benton G1 – Employee generally works a 12-hour shift (typically from 7pm – 7:30am) Monday, Tuesday, and Friday of Week 1, and Sunday, Saturday, Wednesday, and Thursday of Week 2. 5.4.2 Benton G2 – Employee generally works a 12-hour shift (typically 7pm – 7:30am) Saturday, Sunday, Wednesday, and Thursday of Week 1, and Monday, Tuesday, and Friday of Week 2. 5.5 Straight Time – can be used for exempt and non-exempt employees; leave requests can make someone get paid at straight time 5.6 Overtime – Employee must physically work 40 hours in a workweek; paid at time and a half, not including call back 5.7 Time Codes – used for determining how an employee is paid 5.7.1 Regular – total amount of pay for regular hours worked 5.7.2 Standby – employees who are on call; based on a 7-day work week which equates to 1.14 hours per day 5.7.3 Call Back – used for emergency jobs only; employee must be clocked out and away
