9.1 When reviewing a NeoGov PA in any process, the Fiscal Analyst should review for accuracy (based on the instructions on filling out the form) 9.1.1 All information should be reviewed and verified before signing and submitting to HR. 9.1.2 If the PA form is for an existing or rehired employee, PeopleSoft can be utilized to verify information (i.e. demographics, location, supervisor, hire date, etc.) 9.1.3 If the PA form is for a new hire, the Employee Background Check and Employee Application can be used to verify information (i.e. email, education level, etc.) 9.1.4 The Position Control Form can be utilized to find account string codes, job codes, and other program code information for the employee position. 9.2 If a salary exception exists for the new hire, the salary exception email approving it must be attached. 9.3 The requisition process must be completed to verify and/or clarify salary range. 10.0 Uses for NeoGov Personnel Action Forms 10.1 New Hire 10.1.1 Can be completed on any Monday unless it is a holiday; in which case it would be completed the next available business day. 10.2 Promotions 10.2.1 Must be completed at the start of a pay period. 10.3 Transfers 10.3.1 Must be completed at the start of a pay period. 10.4 Voluntary demotion 10.4.1 Must be completed at the start of a pay period.
