We ’ re thrilled to congratulate Raleigh Water and Whit Wheeler, whose collaborative research with NC State University is exploring direct potable reuse as a potential solution for Raleigh's water future. This innovative approach would treat water to drinking standards and return it directly to the main supply. Researchers are currently evaluating water quality from the Neuse River Resource Recovery Facility to assess the system's viability.
