Usable and well-appointed urban public open space should be provided within mixed-use centers to serve as focal points and community gathering spots.

Policy UD 2.8 Open Space in Large Mixed-use Developments Large mixed-use developments should include a range of open spaces, from small parklets, to pocket

parks, squares, and larger active and passive recreation areas. These spaces should serve the immediate and surrounding communities.
